Workshops Jenny is available for poetry workshops and poetry events both within schools and educational establishments and within the community. Jenny has Public Liability Insurance and is happy to work with children of all ages from pre-school upwards. Workshops can be geared towards participants writing their own individual poems or working together to create a group poem or story-telling using poetry.
Workshops have included sessions of the theme of Families and Culture for Worcestershire County Council’s National Adoption Week; and Dragons, for a local holiday club where the children worked together to create a group poem. The children and staff of Whizz Kids holiday club would like to say a big Thank you Jenny for the exciting Poetry workshop that you delivered in July. The theme of Dragons as you can see from the photograph was a great hit, and the children came up with some excellent ideas for the poem.
The activities that followed were all based around the theme including the baking and the children were very enthusiastic to continue their ideas in writing and drawing.
