Jenny is a poet and writer. She started writing when she was six
after falling in love with books and all their possibilities. She
has a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham
and has had poems published widely in small-press magazines.
Jenny’s first poetry collection, Petrolhead, was published in
January 2010 by Oversteps Books.
She also runs poetry workshops in and around Worcestershire and
adjacent counties in the UK. For more information please see our

Jenny is also joint Poetry Editor at Be: Magazine with
Sarah James.
Be: Magazine is the on-line and print literary magazine for the

Jenny also co-runs the Word and Sound, which is an ad-hoc spoken
word and acoustic music open-mic event in Worcester, UK. Please see

Jenny is a member of NAWE (National Association of Writers in
Education) and the Poetry Society.
